What We Will Do

By Don Ruhl (December 24, 2006)

Read the Bible in a year by reading Micah 4 and 5 today.

How was it that David, a youth, was able to kill Goliath, a large experienced warrior? Goliath fought in the name of his gods, but David fought in the name of his God, who is revealed in the Bible. Therefore, we should do the same, as Micah the prophet said,

For all people walk each in the name of his god,
But we will walk in the name of the LORD our God
Forever and ever.
( Micah 4:5).

Everyone who walks in the name of the God of Jesus Christ succeeds, but everyone who walks in the names of other gods or even in no gods, fails.

Have you purposed in your heart to walk in the name of God?
