Tremble Before the Great God!

Let this passage run through your veins today,
The LORD reigns;
Let the peoples tremble!
He dwells between the cherubim;
Let the earth be moved!
( Psalm 99:1)
Don't you just love the declaration of that verse? God reigns! Therefore, tremble before Him. He dwells between the mighty cherubim! The earth should be moved at the very thought of it.
The psalmist also announced that the Lord is great in Zion, great among the people of God, but He is also high above all the people of the earth ( Psalm 99:2). Therefore, what the psalmist said in verse 3 makes sense,
Let them praise Your great and awesome name--
He is holy.
( Psalm 99:3)
