They Led Jesus Away

Something about the following does not seem right, "And they led Jesus away to the high priest; and with him were assembled all the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes" ( Mark 14:53).

Did the men who came to arrest Jesus know who they arrested and the irony of leading Him away to the leaders of the Jews? Should He not have been leading them away? Even more amazing, He submitted to them!

Why? Why did He do it? Think on that the rest of the day!
