Joseph Took His Inheritance

By Don Ruhl (April 4, 2008)

To read the Bible in a year, read Joshua 16-18.

Joshua wrote of the borders of the children of Joseph, providing the details of the boundaries ( Joshua 16:1-3). Once that was done, he wrote, "So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance" (v. 4). That was as it should have been. If they had rejected God's gift, what would they have done? They would have insulted God and they would have no place to live.

How many people reject God's gift of salvation through the death of His Son, insulting God in the process and will find no place in heaven to live for eternity?
