Hear and Understand

To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 7:14-37.
Before Jesus introduced His teaching on what defiles a person, Mark wrote this, "When [Jesus] had called all the multitude to Himself, He said to them, 'Hear Me, everyone, and understand'" ( Mark 7:14). Everyone, no exception, needs to hear and understand what the Lord of heaven and earth said, whether on the topic of defilement or anything else He addressed.
Are you listening to the Lord and seeking to understand Him?
