God Knew All Along and Cared

The brothers of Joseph revealed to their father that Joseph was alive in Egypt. So, the entire family gathered everyone and everything together and headed for Egypt, not only to see Joseph, but to live there ( Genesis 46.1, 5-7). Either before leaving or on the way, God spoke to Jacob (v. 2), telling him not to fear, but that God would be with the man and his family and "Joseph will put his hand on your eyes" (v. 4b).
God knew of the family problems, but He also worked behind the scenes to bring father and son back together again after twenty-two years of separation.
God knows your family situation. Work with Him and He shall work with you.
