Drive Out Troublemakers

The days of Moses leading Israel were almost over. Aaron had just died. It was a new time for Israel as they were about to cross the Jordan and enter the Land of Canaan. Therefore, the Lord wanted Moses to speak to Israel to prepare them for conquering the land. God said to the people through Moses, "But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell" ( Numbers 33:55). Israel did not drive out the inhabitants of the land as the Lord commanded, and indeed, they became as irritants and thorns to Israel.
The church has to do the same thing. We want all people to be members of the church, but the truth is some people are troublemakers and they cannot be allowed to have free reign in a congregation.
Individually, we have to do the same thing. There are people who are troublemakers to us, so we cannot allow them to ruin our lives.
Do whatever the Lord tells you to do in dealing with those people and have peace.
