Critics

To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 6:1-26.

Critics are hard to take, especially if you fill your life with doing good things, and then someone criticizes you for what you have done. They might pick at little things. That is irritating. It is easier to take when you remember the words of Jesus, "Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets" ( Luke 6:26). Therefore, if no one ever speaks evil of you, you probably have not challenged the devil enough. You are not a threat to him. Increase your good.
