Under My Nose

Heavenly Father, you are the surround-abound God! You circle us with so many wonderful things. Our cup runs over, and it seems our cup gets bigger every year! But you keep the free refills coming.

And how many times am I tempted to see the blessings in the next driveway over, across the street, down the hill, over in the next town? In reality, the best is already under my nose, on my coffee table, inside those covers that say "Holy Bible."

What a good and gracious and generous God you are! I see it now. May I see it always.

Through that Teacher who was Goodness personified. Amen.
