WHAT IF SOMEONE knocked on your door today and asked, "Could I sell you some misery today...?
What have all kinds for sale."
Would you buy it? Of course not, but many of us, including me, have "bought" it from time to time.
Negative living doesn't work for me. I refuse to let my day be ruined by pessimism. I'm not perfect by any means, but I am determined to be happy.
This I know. Today is a brand new day. I want it to sparkle with verbal sunshine. Life is too short to be miserable. I want to celebrate the gift of life, to enjoy every blessing.
God cares about every aspect of our lives, every detail, large or small. He is our breath and our heartbeat. He is life in abundance. With Him, nothing is just happenstance.
Even in a crisis we can find something to be thankful for. Our purpose on earth is to love God, to honor Him, to glorify and serve Him. He is the Overcomer. And His presence is enough. Joan Clayton
