GOD'S LEADERS MUST lead...
"And Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, 'Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over ahead of the people.' So they took up the ark of the covenant and went ahead of the people" ( Joshua 3:6).
Twice in this verse inspiration points out the leaders were "ahead" of the people.
Leaders don't drive the flock, they lead the flock.
Sheep need to be shown the way, not told the way.
People follow examples more easily than they follow instructions. Wayne Burger
