DELIVERING A MESSAGE from God to a person or group is both exciting and challenging...
The message must be clear and accurate and cannot be altered to soften the impact. Ministers, elders, Bible school teachers and other servants have the same responsibility in regard to the accuracy of the message. When the message is about the place God has prepared for us throughout eternity, the recipient is pleased, but if the message identifies sin and requires life changes that may seem unacceptable, the message may be rejected.
A frequent repetition of this unpleasing message from a minister may result in a dislike of the minister. Over a period of time, the minister may become disliked so much that he is tempted to alter the message. (James Pence, Gospel Advocate, used by permission)

Come and let us attack him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words'” ( Jeremiah 18:18; cf. 18:1-17; 19 - 20:2).
