...THE VOICE OF nature is impotent regarding the revelation of the will of God...
It can proclaim "God is," but not "God said." It can disclose the face of God but not the mind of God. Man may descend into the depths of the earth, walk the floors of the oceans, and set his foot on some distant planet, but the revelations of his journeys will not contain one word of God's will for his life. The world of nature has no knowledge of sin, Christ, Calvary, or redemption. Man may search the world of nature, but only the Holy Spirit can search the mind of God. That search has been made, and it results have been recorded in the Bible (Frank Chesser).
KneEmail: "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God" (1 Cor. 2:9-13).
