THE JOB OF the church is not to impact the church, but to impact the world...
It's like a huddle at a college football game. 109,000 people don't pay $25.00+ a ticket to watch a team huddle. What if you went to a game and for 2 1/2 hours you watched 11 men stand in a circle and talk? You'd think, "That's not what I paid for!" 109,000 people paid to see what difference the huddle makes. What they want to know is, having called the play in secret, does it work in public?
THOUGHT: The challenge for those of us in the church is not what we do "in the huddle" on Sunday, but what we do when we break huddle and head to our Monday morning assignment.
KneEmail: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matt. 5:14-16).
