He Won

I am all bruised. This morning, I tugged with a worthy opponent.

We wrestled for an hour and a half.

I wiggled.

I squirmed.

I twisted.

But he held on firmly.

I tried some fancy footwork. It didn't work.

I made some fast body moves. No good either.

My eyes bulged.

I breathed in gulps.

I strained.

My neck muscles popped out.

My hair stood on end.

I cried, "Give!"

He won.

A superior wrestler overpowered me in the match.

But, tomorrow, I must tackle him again.

His name?

Psalm 25.
